Covid Updates
LATEST COVID ISOLATION GUIDANCE APRIL 2022
I just wanted to write to you briefly to inform you about the COVID position at St.Michael’s as we have had a number of positive cases now. To date we have 7 positive cases of pupils and 2 members of staff. These cases can be linked and are currently within Year 3, Year 4 and Year 6.
Following current guidelines, we are not able to close year groups or classes unless instructed to do so by Public Health. The number of cases across Peterborough continues to rise matched with very low uptake of vaccines which is making the spread of this variant rapid.
- Please take a look at the attached information leaflet from Peterborough City Council.
- Please be extra vigilant in observing symptoms (High temperature, persistent cough and loss of taste and smell) in your children and get them a PCR test if you have any cause for concern.
- Please continue to notify us immediately if you have a positive test result for your child. There is a dedicated 24/7 voicemail link via the School telephone number (01733306778) which automatically directs to me, so that I am able to pick up notifications after school and at weekends.
If you would like this information in your home language, please contact the school office and we will be able to help you.
Thank you for your continued support.
