The 2017-2018 academic year saw our third cohort of Year 6 pupils take the national tests for 11 year olds.  Results this year continued our upward trend and were the best results the school has achieved so far - a testiment to the hard work, dedication and love from all involved.  Once again, we couldn't have been more proud of the way our pupils conducted themselves.  They took everything in their stride knowing they had worked hard, were well prepared and proud of their achievements since joining our school family - many of whom had only been with us for a very short time.

Below is a summary of our official school results and comparisions with other schools. More information can also be found in the DfE Performance Tables and OfSTED reports.

At the end of Key Stage 2 (Year 6) there were 30 pupils on roll with each pupil representing 3%.  Many of our pupils had only been with us for a short period of time having previously attended other schools both locally and further afield - some from other countries.

National & Local Comparisons

Baseline assessments, which measure children's attainment on entry to our school, show that a large number start school below the levels expected for their age.

However, by the end of their first year at St Michael’s, the number of children who have reached age expectations has been in line with the Peterborough averages for the past few years.  In 2018, we were slightly above the National Average.
