Sports Champs!!

This week St Michael’s hosted a major Netball Tournament.

Teams from 7 schools came together to take each other on in the bid to become the champions. Our team played against Hampton Vale, Hampton Hargate, Welland Academy, Woodston, Southfields and Oakdale and came joint 3rd with Hampton Hargate. Woodston came 1st followed and Oakdale 2nd.

It was a very long day, and by the end the team were very tired. They persevered through injuries but kept going. All the children were amazing!

We are super proud of our very own Peterborough Blue’s; Ollie, Indila, Jaxon and Oscar. They took part in the ‘Football Program Tournament’ which was held at Peterborough United’s home ground on Wednesday. 150 children attended from various age groups. Each age group was split into small teams and these teams played against each other in a mini tournament. With the tournament starting at 2pm and finishing at 4.30pm.

All participants received a medal. Well done boys!!
